August 9th marked 28 years since @jerrygarcia left this earth. I got to celebrate the date with @englishtownproject at the @CityWinery Loft.

As a band comprised of musicians who are (or have been) members of such groups as Hot Tuna, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, and The Zen Tricksters, The Englishtown Project is a tribute ensemble that pays homage to the 3 bands (NRPS, Marshall Tucker & The Dead) that graced the stage at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ on September 9, 1977.
