09. Healees – Coin De L’ceil

Healies are another one of my “off the beaten path” artists who put out a terrific album in 2024.  As one might expect with a album titled Coin De L’ceil, Healees are a Paris based foursome that create beautiful floating dreamscapes with a mix of jangly guitars combined with an aggressive shoegaze rhythm section. The album will make you want to dance when you’re all alone in your living room.  It kind of reminds me a lot of DIIV’s Oshin album but without the New Order(ish) musical meandering.
