08. Fightmilk – No Souvenirs

It could easily be understood if No Souvenirs didn’t make it onto this list.  It was only released less than a month ago, giving it very little time to get fairly digested.  However, after listening to it the first time through, I immediately knew that I wanted to keep listening over and over again, and that’s pretty much all I’ve been doing for the last 3 weeks.  This album rocks with infectious intensity.  Its filled with amazing hooks, terrific musicianship and a lead singer in Lily (quite an extensive search to find a last name came up empty).  Quite honestly, if you’re listening habits gravitate toward the power-pop/punk-pop stratosphere and if you appreciate charismatic females fronting said music…by all means give No Souvenirs a listen.
