07. Trevor Beld Jimenez – Wild Blues Yonder

This album from Trevor Beld Jimenez is one of those great albums which could easily slip through the cracks. Jimenez, who hails from Riverside, CA. writes light and breezy California style pop. If he’d been around during the early to mid 70’s he would have fit right in with the entire singer/songwriter scene in Laurel Canyon which took the world by storm back then. But alas 2024 is not 1974 and this blissful countrified kind of music isn’t all that much the rage, outside of a small niche. So for those who gravitate toward the cosmic country side of independent music, Wild Blue Yonder is an album that one ought to give a listen to.
