Burnover – Greg Freeman (Transgressive Records)

Burlington, VT’s Greg Freeman has had quite a 2025 on the heels of sophomore LP, Burnover.  Largely backed by a who’s who of fellow Burlingtonians, Freeman has crafted a stellar collection of slack Americana tunes with a style and substance which elicits a sound that harkens such varied artists as Jason Molina, Bruce Springsteen, and James Maddock sprinkled in with a sardonic and oft-times dark sense of humor right out of the Zevon songbook.
