Blum’s 5th full length LP is on the face of it, a break up album, but digging deeper one hears the singer offering up a conflicting tightwire act which transgender males invariably find themselves attempting to balance…the need to prove and display the confidence and self assuredness of society’s traditional male vs. having to avoid the pitfalls of male toxicity that has become all too prescient in that same society.
